Twin Disc Waterjets direct
the exit stream through the fully sealed steering system, providing minimal force to operate steering. The
unique Teflon steering system minimizes discharge flow turbulence, thereby channeling 100% of thrust into
the turning effort. The Twin Disc steering nozzle in conjunction with a high thrust at any steering nozzle
angle resulting in excellent maneuverability, zero speed steering, and power braking.
Other unit designs can accentuate water leakage and deflection, adversely affecting steering, maneuverability, and reversing. |
